We Vote CBC Peterborough doesn’t care what party you vote for in the upcoming federal election, as long as you keep Canada’s national treasure in mind.

We Vote CBC is a national campaign of Friends of Canadian Broadcasting, aiming to put the future of the CBC on the federal agenda.

Peterborough-Kawartha was one of 20 swing ridings (a riding that tends to follow the trend of voting across the country) across Canada selected by Friends for special attention in this campaign.

“Politicians pay attention to swing ridings and they’ll be paying attention to Peterborough – the federal leaders will be here. When they come, we want them to see We Vote CBC signs,” said Peterborough’s co-ordinator Kady Denton.
