Media Release – Saskatoon celebrates CBC at cultural event

Saskatoon –We Vote CBC! in Saskatoon will host a cultural celebration in support of our national public broadcaster.   This will be an evening of entertainment with a purpose for CBC supporters provided by a lineup of well-known Saskatoon musicians, writers and performers.

When: 7 pm to 9 pm (pre-show music at 6:30 pm)

“With only weeks before the federal election, this event will show the candidates seeking office for all of the political parties that Saskatoon voters want our elected representatives to rebuild the CBC, rather than tear it down,” said Brenda Baker, a member of FRIENDS’ Steering Committee.

The evening of entertainment is free of charge.
